Food waste is a bigger problem than many people realize,
Even though it is something we are all familiar with,
whether we buy too much food that gets spoiled and thrown away or buying products that are wrapped with lots of plastic.
Between 33-50% of all food produced globally is never eaten, and the value of this wasted food is worth over $1 trillion.
That is 1 in 9 people that are starving or malnourished.
How can I reduce my food waste?
This is one of the topics we are going to discuss in our blog.
Let’s discuss organic food waste,
One of the best methods to prevent food waste is freezing, especially fruits.
So let’s move on to a more positive and delicious topic… BANANAS.
Banana is the fruit with the most creamy texture and we all remember these overripe bananas with black spots lying in our fruit bowl and getting thrown away.
But not many people know that a frozen banana is a perfect base for creamy & healthy ice cream.

Flavor options are endless with bananas and today we’ll focus on dairy-free Ice cream or in a better name: Banana And Chocolate Chips Nice Cream

4 ingredients,1 blender and 5 minutes to make.
It’s naturally sweet, creamy, quick and easy to make.
The best healthy and delicious alternative to ice cream.
Starting today, you can keep your bananas from being thrown into the trash.

We hope you LOVE this nice cream!
We’re gonna need:
• 3 bananas (ripe+frozen)
• 1/4 cup dairy-free milk (we use rice and almond milk)
• 1/3 cup cacao nibs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

1. Put all the ingredients in high-speed blender/food processor and mix till creamy and smoothie.
*The trick to thick ice cream is being patient and blending slowly, adding only as much liquid as necessary, and using a smoothie wand (or something comparable that’s blender safe) to scrape
the sides down as it blends.
2. Pour into coconut bowl and enjoy as is or with your favorite topping (cacao nibs, coconut flakes, fruits, granola, maple, peanut butter, nuts, etc).
bon appétit!
Spread the love,
