DIY Green Clay Mask with Lavender
In ancient cultures, clay soil was used for healing, beauty, and ritual.
Among Indians and Aboriginal people, the clay used healing because of its antiseptic, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties.
Our green clay came from Brazil using it to absorb the toxins from the skin, cleanse the skin, and also lighten it. The clay soil is rich in calcium, magnesium, silica, phosphorus, copper, zinc, and potassium. The clay as a mask can do wonders.
Before preparing the mask, it is necessary to sterilize the clay.
We take a glass jar that has been sterilized and put 3 tablespoons of clay in its lid.
Take a pot filled with water and bring it to a boil when the jar with the clay in it.
Preparing the Mask:
- 3 tablespoons of clay powder.
- 2 teaspoons of lavender seeds
Add the clay powder to the bowl
Sprinkle the lavender seeds in a glass with boiling water and waiting for it to cool down.
- Pour 3 tablespoons of lavender water into the clay, mix to a creamy texture and apply on the face for 20 min.
